A traditional stone extension to Grove Cottage, built to complement the existing cottage stonework. We worked in partnership with Manning Holden Architects on this project, which combined external and internal renovation alongside the extension work.
The extension almost doubled the frontage of the existing house. We used coursed walling stone supplied by Designs In Stone, with all other stone hand-dressed by us on site. Traditional laying techniques throughout ensured the new work matched the character of the original cottage.
What we did:
Extension stonework (stone hand-dressed on site), external and internal renovation, groundworks, and foundations. Plumbing by Phennex Heating Solutions. Coursed walling stone supplied by Designs In Stone. Roofing by Slater & Myles. Joinery by R Gratton. Worked in partnership with Manning Holden Architects.
