A two-storey side extension to Walnut Farm, creating a new living area on the ground floor and bedroom with ensuite upstairs. The centrepiece of the project is a double-sided stone fireplace we built in the living room — a substantial feature that opens to both sides, providing warmth and character to the space.
The fireplace was hand-built using traditional masonry techniques, with each stone carefully selected and dressed to create a clean, functional design. It’s the kind of feature that anchors the room and shows what proper stonework can bring to a project.
What we did:
Extension stonework, groundworks, foundations, and the double-sided stone fireplace (hand-built by OMBS). Roofing by Slater & Myles. Internal finishes coordinated through our subcontractor network.
